John Robert Shockley Sr

John was known as a friend to many. He knew no strangers he touched the lives of so many he was loved by just about everyone he met. What happened t him should not have happened I hope everyone remembers John with love because he didn't hate anyone. All he wanted was his family to be togather how many people would die for there family not very many. He never dreamed it would turn on him like it did he trusted Bill said he liked him & would never hurt him,thats the way Bubba was trusting. Some people may fault Bubba say got what he deserved but honestly how can you fault someone for loving someone so much that they would die trying to keep their family togather! I miss him dearly but mostly I'm tore up that Lil John will grow up without his daddy by his side! Lil John is a spitting image of his daddy from his looks down to his actions. I know John wouldn't like all the fighting (he hated fighting) but it really is hard to forgive somebody for cowardly murdering someone you love who was to young to die! He will never get to see all his sons accomplishments his son growing up to be Just Like Dad. I love you Bubba & miss you so much! I don't know how to tell you good-bye so I will tell you I hope to see you in a better place someday!

The stars are shining as we look into the sky.
For we know that you are looking down,
wishing us not to cry.
We mourn for you as we look upon your resting place,
for its been two years today.
We wouldn't wish you back for anything,
into this world of heartache and pain.
Instead we will look upon your memory,
